"This collection began with the trip to a Picayune Mississippi 'Big Box Store" where I noticed a shocking number of customers doing their marketing via scooters. Picayune is a ground zero example of the current health care crisis where poverty, and a lack of access to healthcare seem to be the primary culprit for this tragic outcome. In providing a portrait of "The Other America" I hope that these photos will arouse sympathy in the public consciousness for the plight of those left behind."
